Our History
Essential was started back in 1998 as Essential Embroidery Design by husband and wife duo, George & Nicki Georgiou. Back then we focused solely on Embroidery and had just one machine. With a lot of hard work and impeccable customer service the business took off!
As we grew, we added much more than just embroidery, adding screen print, transfer print and more.
Today we employ close to 60 people at our factory and offices in Dunstable, Bedfordshire, with both George & Nicki still working in the business along with their two children.
In 2019, we proudly launched our workwear division, 'Essential Workwear' focusing on workwear branding and PPE supplies.
More recently in April 2022, we launched the 'Essential Branding Europe' division which offers an unparalleled UK and pan-European distribution service for discerning clients of corporate promotional merchandise, workwear, PPE and uniforms.
